MELBOURNE, Australia – With Tiger Woods looking on, more than two hours before his tee time at Royal Melbourne, the Sunday singles got under way with Webb Simpson and K.T. Kim trading pars at the first hole.

The International team trails the U.S. by four points and needs an early move to build momentum for what would be the first comeback in Presidents Cup history.

“(Kim) is one of the best match (play) players in the world, that’s why I sent him out first,” said International captain Greg Norman.

Cool, clear skies greeted players on Sunday, a vast improvement over Saturday’s storms, but players will face a new wind with the breeze picking up out of the southwest.
