Leading by three shots after 11 holes, Phil Mickelson found himself two shots behind Englishman Ross Fisher just four holes later. But a closing double bogey by Fisher helped set up a playoff featuring the two, plus Lee Westwood. Mickelson put an end to the proceedings with a birdie on the second extra hole.

A British fan reportedly bet 1,200 euros (almost $1,700) on Rory McIlroy to win the Masters after seeing his face in a Danish pastry. Rob Price, 27,told the paper he is very superstitious and that he was going to bet a modest amount on McIlroy anyway. The pastry, however, was a sign, he believed, because it not only revealed McIlroy’s face but Rory’s girlfriend is Danish tennis player Caroline Wozniacki. Price apparently got McIlroy at 12/1 odds as he said he’s in line for 14,400-euro ($20,000) payout if McIlroy prevails. Take a look.
