Cobra Golf is celebrating the upcoming U.S. Open with the release of a limited edition red, white and blue Amp Cell Pro driver. The new driver will feature all of the same technology that made the Amp Cell drivers such a popular new option after their initial release earlier this year, including the adjustable lofts golfers can use to quickly and easily alter based on their swing speed, course conditions and weather. Check out the full review here.

“The golfing community is so patriotic, especially around the U.S. Open – we felt it was the perfect time to introduce a limited edition color to our Amp Cell Pro driver line,” said Jose Miraflor, Cobra’s director of product marketing, in a press release.

Each Amp Cell Pro driver will come complete with an Aldila RIP Phenom shaft in regular or stiff flex, limited edition head cover and adjusting wrench that will follow the patriotic color theme.

Only 600 limited edition drivers will be available at select golf retailers starting on June 1st, two weeks before the world’s best tee it up for the season’s second major at Merion Golf Club. Each driver will be marked with a '1 of 600' decal on the sole for authenticity and they will retail for $499. For more information or to purchase your own red, white and blue Amp Cell Pro driver, visit
