Travelers Championship 2026: Odds, favorites for TPC River Highlands

Scheffler on Sunday at Shinnecock: 'The crowd was tough today...New Yorkers are tough, tough people"
Scottie Scheffler discussed Sunday's final-round crowd at Shinnecock and said, "The crowd was tough today...New Yorkers are tough, tough people."

Can’t believe it’s almost already over. The Tour’s signature event calendar closes out at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut, this week.

2024 champ Scottie Scheffler enters as the favorite still in search of his second win of 2026. Xander Schauffele, who won here in 2022, is next up followed by Cameron Young and U.S. Open runner-up Sam Burns.

The lone New England stop has treated native and two-time winner Keegan Bradley favorably in the past. Bradley enters as defending champion after besting Tommy Fleetwood and Russell Henley a year ago.

Here are where the odds stand as of Monday, June 22.

2026 Travelers Championship odds (courtesy of DraftKings):

  • Si Woo Kim (+3100)

Travelers winner prediction

Scheffler can’t go 0-for-8 in signature events, can he? He’ll be in contention, we know that much as of Monday morning. But that doesn’t cash winners tickets on Sunday night. So … we’ll keep looking.

Don’t necessarily love the value of this player after he missed the cut at Shinnecock but if that result can be tossed out like a low-graded test in school then Si Woo Kim at +3100 makes a lot more sense than players he’s priced around heading into Connecticut. He was 16-for-16 in made cuts entering last week’s major so, like Scheffler, we know he’ll be hanging around the course this upcoming weekend.

The putter has cursed him from the winner’s circle so far in 2026 but we’ll roll the dice with Tour’s third-ranked player in shots gained tee-to-green. Also not for nothing: The birthday premonition didn’t come true for Kim’s good friend on Sunday in Long Island so take this with a massive grain of salt BUT Sunday, June 28, will be Kim’s 31st birthday. Let’s eat some cake with Si Woo!

Scottie Scheffler got part of what he needed — a crack in Wyndham Clark’s game that might have kickstarted his own run at completing the career Grand Slam.

Favorite longshot to win the 2026 Travelers

Outside the top 14 lies some good value, so we’ll throw a dart on three mid-range names who have all won on Tour this year and one more on a guy who’s shockingly getting triple digits from the oddsmakers ahead of this week’s final signature event.

OK, so from the midrange: Russell Henley (+4000), Akshay Bhatia (+6300), and Alex Fitzpatrick (+6300). All three numbers are off. Why is 2025 Travelers runner-up Henley suddenly in less favor with wise guys than Patrick Cantlay? Simply do not agree with that pecking order (see: pricing) based on what we’ve seen on the course this year.

Bhatia finished T-5 here in 2024 going to toe-to-toe with Scheffler until fading late on Sunday. He handled Shinnecock admirably with his seventh T-20 or better result of the year so we’ve got a mix of good course history and recent performance.

Fitzpatrick, unlike the others in this cohort, has yet to play here. But, he is arguably the hottest of the three. Not even a broken driver could prevent him from finishing inside the top 10 at Jack’s Place earlier this month. There’s a good chance we’ll keep swinging on him for the rest of 2026 because the gut says he’s just not done winning!

And last one here, more of a fan pick but the course history is too good to ignore: We’re just going to lean in and pray on Jason Day at +11500 sending us to the winner’s window.

TPC River Highlands gets ready to host the Tour’s final signature event of the season. Here are the notable names in the field.

Travelers first-round leader prediction

Keegan Bradley is just too good at this place not to hand out at +4400. We like him as a top 10 ticket, too, but the first round number here is absurd given his history. It’s just 18 holes!

And two more for fun: Chris Gotterup (+3700) and Brian Harman (+6200). Not taking Gotterup as a winner was tough decision above but the confidence in him over a four-day stretch has waned at least enough over the last few months. Therefore, it’s easier to categorize him as someone to play in a more isolated scenario like this one.

As for Harman, the 2024 runner-up is just a beast when playing outside of Hartford with a current stretch that includes five out of six T-10 finishes. He’ll be popular in that market we predict so staying clear and hoping to find a bit of diamond in the rough for Thursday. Nobody’s taking this guy to win the first round, really?

Best bet for TPC River Highlands

Kudos to Tyrrell Hatton for cashing a +400 ticket over the weekend and making up for a dud of a card heading into Shinnecock. We’ll go back to the well and hand out a straight ticket: Ben Griffin to finish T-20 at +116. Smooth with the putter, accurate with the driver. Going totally unnoticed. Our kind of player.

Griffin has played 18 events this year (with 14 made cuts) so at first glance opted to ignore him based on wear and tear — same reasoning behind why he was shunned from U.S. Open picks, he was coming off a missed cut at Memorial where he looked gassed after 11 tournaments in 12 weeks. However, taking the week off from Toronto proved fruitful as he went out and finished T-17 at the U.S. Open. We also can’t ignore a T-14 finish here in 2025. We’ll gobble up the plus money in this market.

Harris English (+122), Gary Woodland (+150) and Alex Smalley (+192) all get our endorsements here for plus EV reasons but also English crushes the course, Woodland has six T-20 finishes this season and Smalley is being handicapped as if the 2026 PGA Championship never happened. Like all three this week to T-20 independently of one another for the sake of conservative wagering. But, if you were so inclined, parlaying them nets you a neat +1600 in return. Not shabby.
