Phil Mickelson casually mentioning that he will be making $50,000 side bets during his pay-per-view match with Tiger Woods next month was absolutely the best quote to come out of his interviews during Thursday night's Los Angeles Lakers-Denver Nuggets game.

But the rest of his time on TV was pretty entertaining as well.

Mickelson, who can talk the talk as well as anyone in PGA Tour history, joined TNT’s “Inside the NBA” crew to break down “The Match,” but it wasn’t long before they moved on to all sorts of other topics.

As usual, the five-time major winner had an answer for everything.

On Charles Barkley’s infamous golf swing: “Well that swing is so entertaining I don’t want to change it. That brings a lot of joy and pleasure to my life.”

On kicking a water bottle off Zach Johnson’s head after the Ryder Cup: “I’ve been doing taekwondo for 15-16 years so that’s not like that big of a deal. I was trying to get Tiger to put the water bottle on his head and hoping I’d come up just a little bit short.”

On dancing for his new Mizzen+Main commercial: “When you have dance moves like I do, it’s a crime to hold them from the public. You have to let them out.”

Check out the full interview below, if for no other reason than to watch Shaq attempt the Mickelson high-kick.

Spoiler alert: It didn't go well.
