The one-hour selection special will air live from PGA Tour Studios in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida and will feature International Team Captain Geoff Ogilvy and U.S. Team Captain Brandt Snedeker announcing their long-awaited captain’s picks for the Presidents Cup.
The six discretionary players chosen tonight for each roster will join the six who automatically qualified following the FedExCup playoffs.
On the International side, the captain’s picks will join: Si Woo Kim, Hideki Matsuyama, Ryan Fox, Tom Kim, Min Woo Lee and Adam Scott.
On the U.S. side, the captain’s picks will team up with Scottie Scheffler, Cameron Young, Wyndham Clark, Sam Burns, Russell Henley and Collin Morikawa.
The U.S. and International squads will go head-to-head in the 16th edition of the Presidents Cup at Medinah Country Club in Chicago, Illinois from Sept. 24-27.
The International team has only won the Presidents Cup once back in 1998 and the two sides tied in 2003, otherwise the United States has taken home the trophy 13 times.
