Tiger Woods has completed his rehabilitation at a center in Switzerland and returned to the United States, according to various reports, but his legal issues following a March 27 arrest for suspicion of DUI continue.
A Florida state attorney planned to file a subpoena in a South Florida court for “any and all reports documenting statements of the patient regarding alcohol or chemical substance,” while Woods was being treated at the Cleveland Clinic Martin (Fla.) South Hospital following his arrest.
The subpoena will instead be filed on June 30 and will also include a request for “any and all drug screen results” from Woods’ time at the Cleveland Clinic following his arrest.
Woods, 50, was arrested on suspicion of DUI by the Martin County Sheriff Department after a car accident involving Woods’ SUV and a truck on South Beach Road in Jupiter Island, Florida.
At the time of his arrest, Woods told deputies he took a “few” prescription medications and deputies found two hydrocodone pills in his pants pocket. Hydrocodone is a prescription painkiller.
On March 31, Woods announced on social media he was “stepping away … to seek treatment.”
