With his team holding onto a one-point lead at Lahinch, GB&I captain Dean Robertson is opting for a “rinse and repeat” method when it comes to his foursomes strategy early Sunday.
Robertson is keeping Ben Bolton and Jack Whaley on the bench, while preserving the pairings as they were Saturday.
The lone difference is a switch of the order — and by extension, their opponent.
Sam Easterbrook and Luke Poulter will be slotted into the second slot, bumping Connor Graham and Tyler Weaver back to face Miles Russell and Tyler Watts.
It was the American teenagers who earned the U.S. its only full point during Saturday foursomes, edging Easterbrook and Poulter on the 18th hole in closely-contested contest.
Nonetheless, Robertson has made the change in hopes a different matchup will bring him a better result.
As for the red, white and blue, U.S. captain Nathan Smith is making one significant adjustment to his lineup.
Smith is calling in William Jennings, and putting Josiah Gilbert on the bench with veteran Stewart Hagestad.
Gilbert found himself down 5 to Eliot Baker at one point during his Saturday’s singles match, while failing to put anything on the board during foursome play with Ryder Cowan earlier in the day.

- Stuart Grehan/Eliot Baker vs. Preston Stout/Ethan Fang, 3:05 a.m. ET
- Sam Easterbrook/Luke Poulter vs. Kihei Akina/Jay Leng, 3:20 a.m. ET
- Connor Graham/Tyler Weaver vs. Miles Russell/Tyler Watts, 3:35 a.m. ET
- Niall Sheils Donegan/Josh Hill vs. Ryder Cowan/William Jennings, 3:50 a.m. ET
Golf Channel will begin its live foursomes coverage at 3 a.m. ET Sunday. Singles competition is set to begin at 8:30 a.m. ET.
