How to watch the 2026 U.S. Senior Open

Will win at Travelers give way to more consistent play from Hovland?
The Golf Today desk discusses what the 2026 Travelers Championship win means for Viktor Hovland.

The Francis D. Ouimet Memorial Trophy is up for grabs this week at Scioto Country Club in Columbus, Ohio.

Reigning U.S. Senior Open champ Padraig Harrington is looking to claim his third trophy but it won’t come easy in a field that boasts names like Ernie Els, Ian Poulter, Vijay Singh, and Henrik Stenson.

Of course, there’s 2025 runner-up Stewart Cink also in the field. Cink, who lost to Harrington by a shot at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs a year ago, has won the first two senior majors this year (Senior PGA Championship, Regions Tradition).

This is the third time Scioto plays host to the U.S. Senior Open, with Dale Douglas winning 40 years ago in 1986 and Gene Sauers winning the latest version in 2016.

Here’s when the action tees off and where to watch it this week (all times in ET).

The USGA is expected to announce the 2026 U.S. Senior Open purse during the week.

Playing a little more than 120 miles from the site of his T-15 finish at the 2023 PGA Championship, Michael Block made a final-round push at the Dick’s Open — only to be thwarted by a damaging ‘7' on the 18th hole.
