Jutanugarn earns medalist honors at LET Q-School

In Daytona Beach, Fla., or Morocco, the Jutanugarn sisters experienced little resistance at their respective qualifying schools.
Just two weeks after Moriya, 18, tied for top honors at LPGA Q-School, younger sister Ariya, 17, thumped the field at Ladies European Tour Q-School, winning the five-round tournament by five shots on Monday. The Thai shot rounds of 68-70-64-65-69 to post 24-under 336. The top 30 and ties earned LET cards for the 2013 season (click here for full leaderboard).
In July, the LPGA denied a petition from then-16-year-old Ariya to join her sister at Q-School. Players must turn 18 by Jan. 1 to be eligible for qualifying school, but the tour has granted exemptions in the past, most recently to Lexi Thompson.
This season, Ariya Jutanugarn, of Bangkok, Thailand, became only the fifth girl to win consecutive AJGA Rolex Player of the Year Awards. She is the second-ranked women's amateur in the world, behind only Lydia Ko.
