John Daly made three birdies and an eagle Friday to give himself a chance to make it to the weekend at the St. Jude Classic, but a double bogey at the par-4 ninth, his 18th hole of the day, left him in a wait-and-see situation.
Daly entered the clubhouse tied for 63rd at even par after his 2-under 68 at TPC Southwind. He has made only two cuts on the PGA Tour since February of last year.
