Following his second career World Golf Championships win on Sunday, Hunter Mahan is now No. 9 in the Official World Golf Ranking. For beating Rory McIlroy in the final of the WGC-Accenture Match Play, Mahan gained 13 spots to a new career-high ranking.

McIlroy could have become No. 1 in the world by defeating Mahan, but instead remains at No. 2 behind Luke Donald. McIlroy now trails by only .533 points.

Lee Westwood remains third, within a point of Donald. Mark Wilson, who defeated Westwood in the consolation match, improved 18 spots to No. 24.

By advancing to the final 16 in Arizona, Dustin Johnson improved to No. 7 in the world – an increase of three spots.

Bounced in the second round by Nick Watney, Tiger Woods dropped a spot to 21st.

Picking up his first PGA Tour win in an eight-hole playoff, rookie John Huh is now No. 137 in the world. Huh improved 130 spots with a victory in just his fifth PGA Tour start.
