Fluff a legend to peers at Colonial’s caddie derby

FORT WORTH, Texas – OK, so maybe the caddie derby at Colonials 13th hole isnt the weeks most heated competition. That, of course, would go to Sundays head-to-head duel between Jason Dufner and Zach Johnson, but the festive event did land some style points on Saturday.

After Jim Furyk and David Mathis teed off on the par 3, Mathis caddie Matt Achatz stopped short of the putting surface and bowed to Mike Fluff Cowen, Furyks bagman and a caddie-yard legend.

(Achatz) held up on me, Cowen told GTC Sunday morning, but I got the W.
