RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. – Rolex world No. 1 Stacy Lewis will be looking to make a move Saturday in the third round of the Kraft Nabisco Championship.

With a 1-under-par 71 Friday, Lewis sits at even par overall, seven shots off the lead. She won here two years ago and tied for fourth here last year.

“One good round and you are right where you need to be,” Lewis said. “You shoot 5 or 6 under, and you’re right in the tournament. I’m not that far away.”

Lewis was glad to have her caddie, Travis Wilson, on the bag. He felt ill after Thursday’s round and visited an urgent care center for IV fluids. Lewis’ agent, Jeff Chilcoat, was on call as a possible backup but Lewis said the danger Wilson couldn’t go was probably overstated.

“He felt a little off the last few days and just kind of needed some fluids to get going again, but he felt great today and I was glad to have him,” Lewis said.
