Last night’s inductees include 4-time Major Champion Phil Mickelson, 2-time Major Champion Sandy Lyle, 4-time LPGA Major Champion Hollis Stacy, Golf Writer Dan Jenkins, and 8-time European Ryder Cup team member and broadcaster Peter Alliss. Congratulations everyone!
- Couples Can’t Go
Fred Couples says an illness will keep him out of THE PLAYERS Championship. The two-time champion in this event withdrew yesterday. His spot in the field will not be replaced.

European Ryder Cup Captain Jose Maria Olazabal says he will only have two vice captains at Medinah to cut down any confusion. His U.S. counterpart, Davis Love III, is expected to have up to 4.
