3M Open 2026: Scheffler headlines field for TPC Twin Cities; Day, Fox out

Kitayama putting last two weeks in rearview at 3M Open
Kurt Kitayama talks to Golf Channel's Amy Rogers ahead of the 3M Open in Minneapolis, where he is set to defend his 2025 title. Kitayama, who has four T-10 finishes this year, says he comes in hungry after less than desirable results in the U.K.

The PGA Tour makes its U.S. return at the 3M Open in Minnesota’s Twin Cities, where the third to last FedExCup regular season event will be held over the final full weekend of July.

Scottie Scheffler headlines the field, while reigning champ Kurt Kitayama looks for a repeat at TPC Twin Cities. Open winner Ryan Fox has withdrawn since the field was initially posted last week, while Stefano Mazzoli has been added after triumphing for the first-time in his career at the Coralres Puntacana Championship.

Jason Day has since withdrawn, citing a back injury on Wednesday. Charley Hoffman has replaced him.
