The drama train has entered the station on Big Break Ireland. It didn’t take very long for tension to heat up between the teams. The day started off with Bennett not feeling well and removing himself from the first challenge. This decision didn’t sit well with each team. They all felt Bennett should have toughed it out and played sick. But Team Straffan didn’t let losing Bennett for the day get them down. Being a man down for the day gave them the motivation to come together and work as a team to beat Team Liffey. Going into the elimination challenge, Matt, captain for Team Liffey, chose to go head-to-head against Mallory. For the second week in row, Mallory let her clubs do the talking and escaped being eliminated from Big Break Ireland. Team Liffey said goodbye to Matt.

Watch Matt’s exit interview as he talks to Host, Tom Abbott about how he started playing golf; how he auditioned for Big Break even though he never watched an episode in his life; why he picked Mallory in the elimination challenge; to why he didn’t like the team aspect of Big Break Ireland.

Happy Hour for Team Straffan meant playing a joke on sick teammate, Bennett. But Happy Hour was not so happy for Team Liffey as they vented their frustrations about the day’s events. Mark was especially upset with his performance and Joe’s reaction to his performance.
