What's in the Solheim players' bags

Solheim Cup

Head Cover

Peaking out of the American bags at Killeen Castle this week you may notice an AB Golf Design USA Boxing Glove head cover. Captain Rosie Jones gave them as gifts to the top 16 ranked U.S. players during a practice session shortly before the final roster was set. In addition to Team USA players, Jones also gave the gift to assistant captains, family, friends and past captains.

“I’m a huge fan of the look, feel and quality of AB head covers and just knew the USA Boxing Glove would be a big hit with the girls,” said Jones. “It’s a motivator to play hard and truly get in the spirit of ‘Go Team USA!’ as we prepare to compete in Ireland.”

Towels

Another bag accessory you’ll see in Ireland is the Players Towel. Both the U.S. and European teams are using the special edition Players Towel for the Solheim Cup. Captain Jones and Paula Creamer asked for personalized towels, something Creamer has done for the last three Cups.
