The first round of the 76th Masters Tournament proved to be a tough one for some of the more seasoned players and favorites to win this event. But the second round looks to be off to a better start for some. Rory McIlroy is seeking redemption from his disastrous finish last year as he is in the hunt with two shots behind the leader during his second round.
A new name, but seasoned veteran is among the top of the leaderboard , Sergio Garcia. As talented of a player as Garcia is, he has yet to win a Major. You have to give it up to Garcia as he is playing with an infected middle finger on his left hand. Could this be the year Garcia win’s his first major?
Tiger Woods ended his first round with a 72, which in the end he said was a good day for Team Woods. Like McIlroy his first round was off to a shaky start, but even though he is early into his second round it looks promising as he had to birdies within the first three holes.
