DUBLIN, Ohio – PGA Tour caddie carousel update No. 327.
It’s been a particularly busy season in the Tour caddie yard and news surfaced this week that there has been another shakeup in the looping ranks.
Christian Donald, who caddied for his brother world No. 1 Luke until 2009, will team with former No. 1 Martin Kaymer starting at this month’s U.S. Open. Donald had been with Paul Casey as recently as The Players Championship but the two decided it was time for a change.
“I’ve always known (Johan Elliott, Kaymer’s manager) and we’ve always got on well and he had suggested it would be a good fit,” Christian Donald told GolfChannel.com. “I’m looking forward to it. (Kaymer) seems like a great guy.”
As for who will replace Donald on Casey’s bag stay tuned.
