Dufner: A good player only wins '2 percent of the time'

Jason Dufner has won two of his last three PGA Tour starts. After starting his career 0-for-163, however, Dufner believes in the law of averages.
"You're a really good golfer if you're winning about 2 percent of the time," he said Tuesday on "Morning Drive."
"It's really hard to win out there. I've been fortunate the last couple of weeks to play some really good golf and have a few things go my way."
Dufner beat Ernie Els in a playoff for his first PGA Tour win in New Orleans, and then sank a 26-foot birdie putt on the 72nd hole to win the HP Byron Nelson Championship. Both wins are the product of improved patience on the weekend.
"When things aren't well, you push it and things get worse," he said. "When you're playing well, you start to get conservative."
After a pair of wins and getting married, Dufner has returned to Twitter. He took a break from the service during the Zurich Classic until this past weekend.
"It can be a little bit of a distraction at times," he said. "I just wanted to take a bit of a break from it. When you're on Twitter for two hours after the round, your wife looks at you a little funny."
