Foley: Woods 'sharp' in Tuesday practice

AKRON, Ohio – Tiger Woods capped his morning workout at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational with a 40-minute practice range session with swing coach Sean Foley.

Some had speculated that Foley and Woods had split but the two spent last Thursday and Friday working together in south Florida and he walked nine holes with Woods on Tuesday morning at Firestone.

Asked how his most high-profile student looked in his first tournament back since withdrawing from May’s Players Championship with left knee and Achilles tendon injuries Foley said simply, “sharp.”
