Gay Glover prepare for BMW Championship

LEMONT, Ill. – Awkward moment early Thursday at Cog Hill. Lucas Glover and Brian Gay were spotted on the practice range, separated by only a few blades of grass and a pile of range balls.

Gay, you’ll remember, got passed over by U.S. Presidents Cup captain Fred Couples on Tuesday while Glover was an easy choice, along with Hunter Mahan, to play next month’s matches as a captain’s pick.

Of course, there are no hard feelings between Gay and Glover, although Couples said Gay took the news hard. And just in case, it was fortunate the two were separated by one Tiger Woods, the ultimate peacekeeper.
