The King as a cover athlete?
EA Sports revealed Thursday that a young Arnold Palmer will share the cover of the latest Tiger Woods video game, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14.
Users will be able to play as Palmer – who also was featured in the ’05 and ’06 versions of the game – as well as newcomers Keegan Bradley, Bud Cauley, Stacy Lewis and Lexi Thompson. More than 25 golfers are available in the upcoming title.
EA Sports will unveil a unique European version of the cover art in the next few weeks.
Last year, Rickie Fowler and Rory McIlroy joined Woods on the cover of the game, after fans voted for three weeks on Facebook. The Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 version of the game featured Augusta National and set a franchise record for first-week sales.
