The long wait is over -- it's Masters Week! 97 players are invited to participate in this year's Masters Tournament. Many will be practicing all day at Augusta National.
- Hunting Wins
Hunter Mahan is the first 2-time champion on the PGA TOUR in 2012. He won the Shell Houston Open by one shot over Carl Pettersson. It's Mahan's 5th career PGA TOUR win.
- Major Breakthrough
Sun Young Yoo is a Major Champion for the first time! She won the Kraft Nabisco Championship with a 20 foot birdie on the first playoff hole to defeat I.K. Kim. Kim missed a one-foot putt on 18 in regulation to back into the playoff.
- Victory in Sicily
Thorbjorn Olesen is a European Tour champion for the first time. Olesen fired a final round 69 to beat a hard-charging Chris Wood by a single shot. The 22-year-old is the youngest European Tour winner this season.
