Cliff Notes
-The swing is a combination of two distinct forces. Body action creates power by coiling and uncoiling around a steady head. Arm, wrist and hand action supplies some power but their main function is to transmit to the club head the greatest power created by the body. Good timing is when the coiling and uncoiling of the body mixes perfectly with the swinging action of the hands and arms.
-If the body is too far ahead at impact, a good drill to fix it is take your stance and pull your trail leg back so only the toe is touching the ground. Take swings this way. Another way to fix it is by taking swings with your feet together.
-If the arms and hands are too far ahead at impact, a good drill is take your stance and pull your lead leg back so only the toe is touching the ground. Take swings this way, it worked great for Nick Faldo.
