Fouch Wins Maiden FUTURES Tour Title


Duramed Futures TourFRISCO, Texas -- Allison Fouch shot a 1-over on 72 on Sunday, but was able to hold on to win her first title on the Duramed FUTURES Tour.
Fouch, who owned the overnight lead, won the The Power of a Dream Golf Classic at 1-under-par 212, beating Violeta Retamoza by one shot.
She claimed $11,200 for the title won by current LPGA Tour players Hye Jung Choi last year.
Retamoza closed with a 4-under 67 -- tied for the best score in the final round -- and finished alone in second place at even-par 213. She earned an $8,000 check.
Ji Min Jeong had a 73 and finished in third place at 2-over 215, while Meredith Ward (74), Yeon Joo Lee (71), Lisa Ferrero (70) and Jordan Cherebetiu (68) were a shot further back at 217.
