Tiger Woods was visually impaired at the scene of a car crash Friday in which he struck another vehicle and rolled over, Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek told reporters. Budensiek said Woods was arrested on suspicion of DUI. Neither driver was injured and nobody else was in either vehicle, the sheriff confirmed.

Lydia Ko started her opening round at Wild Horse Pass with four straight birdies, propelling her to a career-low 60. Ko, with the help of a dozen birdies, flirted with a sub-60 score. Despite the strong performance, she carries just a stroke lead over Hyo Joo Kim (61) entering Friday’s second round.
John Pak shot a bogey-free, 11-under 61 during the opening round at The Landings Golf and Athletic Club in Savannah. The strong performance was almost matched by fellow American Ian Gilligan, who also finished with 11 birdies on the day. The difference? A bogey on the par-4 seventh hole for Gilligan, who sits in solo second after finishing with a 62.
