Watch: Garcia holes bunker shot for birdie, saves bird

Sergio Garcia bogeyed the par-4 seventh to fall to 1 under par and, at the time, five shots off the lead.

But then this [the above video] happened. Garcia holed a bunker shot at the par-3 eighth for birdie to get back to 2 under. Coupled with a Shane Lowry bogey at No. 5, Garcia was only three back.

While walking to the ninth tee, he then rescued a baby bird from the ground and handed it to a USGA official. True story.
