Not to be outdone by his Nike counterpart's most recent commercial appearance, world No. 1 Rory McIlroy is featured prominently in the latest spot for the manufacturer's new VR_S Covert driver.
The Ulsterman, who notched his first top-10 finish of the season thanks to a closing 65 Sunday at Doral, does not have any lines in the latest ad, but is instead shown hitting a tee shot with the cavity-back driver to the approval of a surrounding gallery.
With Tiger Woods now within striking distance of his top ranking, McIlroy will next appear on the PGA Tour at the Shell Houston Open, his lone remaining start before the season's first major.
