An old enemy

TURNBERRY, Scotland – The one thing that plagued Tom Watson for much of his career was the one thing that disappointed him most when he needed it on the 72nd hole of the Open Championship.

That’s right, the putter.

Watson missed a putt to win his sixth Open and now must go a four-hole playoff with Stewart Cink to decide who will be the Champion Golfer of the Year.
