Ben Crane moved to 50th from 77th in the Official World Golf Ranking after defeating Webb Simpson in a playoff at the McGladrey Classic.

Simpson remained in the 12th spot as none of the top 14 moved from their previous position. World No. 1 Luke Donald lost some of his lead over Lee Westwood, however, dropping slightly to 2.86 points.

England’s Tom Lewis catapulted to 166th from 621st in the world after winning the Portugal Masters for his first professional win in just his third paid start.

Tiger Woods, meanwhile, continued his slide down the ladder, dropping three spots to 55th. Woods now trails Donald by 7.87 points.
