The LPGA has found a home for its return to Hawaii, the tour announced Monday.
Honolulu’s Ko Olina GC will host the LPGA Lotte Championship, played April 18-21. It will be the tour’s first event in the 50th state since 2009. The tournament will feature a 144-player field vying for $1.7 million in prize money.
Ko Olina has hosted the LPGA Tour in nine seasons, from 1990-1995 and 2006-2008. Paula Creamer won the last event at the club, taking the 2008 Fields Open in Hawaii.
