Sirak attended the Presidents Cup in Australia and feels that Tiger turned in the best 2-3-0 performance he had ever seen. At Royal Melbourne, Tiger was striking the ball better than he had seen in a very long time and this week he comes back to a place where he led by 4 after 54 holes only to lose to Graeme McDowell in a playoff. Tiger is the man to beat this week, in his opinion.

PGA TOUR Q-School is the best reality show in golf and it never fails year and year to provide intense drama and great stories. Sam Saunders and Ty Tryon are great examples as Saunders is trying to join his grandfather Arnold Palmer as a PGA TOUR member while Tryon is now 27 and trying to get back to the PGA TOUR. Tryon qualified at the age of 16 through Q-School. Add the former Major Champions and you have a compelling event this week.

The Western Refining collegiate event in El Paso was won by Cory Whitsett of Alabama last week. It is the only NCAA event where players compete as individuals. Colleges receive money for scholarships and the players receive cowboy boots. Past Champions include Tiger Woods, Jerry Pate, and Davis Love III and while the NCAA has tried for years to end the event, the colleges have rallied to keep it alive.
