PHOENIX – The LPGA Portland Classic will be moving to a new home, which will feel like a return home this summer.

The Tournament Golf Foundation is preparing to announce the long-time LPGA event will be played Aug. 29-Sept. 1 at Columbia Edgewater Country Club Aug. 29-Sept. 1. Club members were informed on Thursday.

The Portland Classic, which dates back to 1972, has been looking for a new home since its contract with Pumpkin Ridge expired last year. Columbia Edgewater Country Club was host to the event for 26 years, with the last event played there in 2008.
