Tiger Woods is headed back to Turkey this fall.
Tournament organizers for the European Tour’s Turkish Airlines Open announced Monday that Woods will play the Nov. 7-10 event.
Last year, Woods competed in the same event when it was an eight-man medal-match play tournament. He lost in the semifinals to Justin Rose.
This time, however, it will be a 72-hole stroke-play tournament that is the third leg of the four-event Race to Dubai.
“I had a great time during my first visit to Turkey,” Woods said in a release. “The fans who came to watch made it a really special event and I’m looking forward to playing there once again.”
The Colin Montgomerie-designed Maxx Royal course in Belek will host the 77-player event, which will feature a $7 million purse.
