MORE PGA TOUR

Ryo Hisatsune shot a bogey-free 62 to take the 18-hole lead at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, the PGA Tour’s first signature event of the year. Keegan Bradley and Sam Burns each sit a stroke off after firing respective 9-under 63s, while the red-hot Chris Gotterup is T-4. It was another slow start for Scottie Scheffler who finished T-62 with a first-round 72 that included three bogeys.
Chris Gotterup extended his streak to nine straight birdies over two rounds on two very different courses. He ultimately settled for an 8-under 64 on Thursday in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, leaving him two behind Ryo Hisatsune.
Keegan Bradley and amateur Mary Meeker combined for a 13-under 59 during the opening round of the 2026 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Bradley and Meeker carry a two-stroke lead over three other pairings.
The former Nike athlete has worn Pebble Beach-logoed gear all week, and Thursday’s look included a navy Pebble hoodie and matching hat.
Rory McIlroy shot 4-under 68 at Spyglass Hill in the first round of the 2026 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. But it could have been a lot lower if not for two double bogeys in three holes.
Last week it was a 2-over 73, this week it’s an even-par 72 start for Scottie Scheffler at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Again, however, he’s 10 shots back after the first round on the PGA Tour. Highlights from the world No. 1 and his press conference.
Amateur Murray Demo slam-dunked his approach shot on the par-4 16th at Pebble Beach and then playing companion Chris Gotterup nearly spun his in for eagle at the 2026 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
Scheffler, who opened last week’s WM Phoenix Open in 2-over 73 before rallying to a T-3 finish, carded an even-par 72 Thursday at Pebble Beach Golf Links and sits T-62 out of 80 competitors, double-digit shots off the lead, at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
Sam Burns finished T-2 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am after firing a bogey-free 63 during his opening round. He trails Japan’s Ryo Hisatsune by a stroke entering Spyglass Hill on Friday.
Ryo Hisatsune put himself in great position to claim the first signature event of the PGA Tour season, shooting 10-under 62 in the first round at Pebble Beach Golf Links. Hisatsune, who finished T-10 last week at TPC Scottsdale and T-2 at Torrey Pines, told Golf Channel’s Todd Lewis he started to find confidence in his putter recently -- and that was on full display during his bogey-free opening round.
